Banana Cream pie is a desert like no other. With creamy banana with a buttery crush, it's simply mouthwatering and is a perfect mood lifter. Once you taste it, your soul will want more.
Here is the recipe
For pudding
For Vanilla Cookie crust
Take a sauce pan and put it over medium heat.
Combine flour and sugar in the pan followed by slowly pouring Keventer Metro milk in it. Continue stirring to ensure the flour properly desolves into the milk.
Stir until the mixture starts to get thick.
Take a small amount of the hot mixture in a separate bowl and add the egg yolks slowly into it while stirring continuously.
Add the yolks into the saucepan where you are cooking the pudding mixture.
Continue cooking the mixture until thick.
Once thick, remove it from heat and add vanilla, salt and butter.
Set it aside to cool down.
Butter a 9 inch pie pan and line it with 2-3 layers of cling wrap.
Combine the cookie crumbs and melted butter in a large bowl until you get a texture of wet sand.
Transfer the crust mixture into the pan evenly and place it in fridge.
Remove the crust from fridge and cover the bottom with 2 layers of freshly sliced Keventer banana.
Pour the pudding mixture on top of the banana layers.
Chill it for around 2 hours.
The pie is now ready to eat. Serve it with some whipped cream and some additional slices of banana.
